The Streams of Love International
We are a non-profit international organization based on the biblical foundation of love.
Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. Faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.
We believe everyone is worthy and has a purpose for their lives. There are many people in the world who dwell on the former things, or ponder things of the past. Everyone, who desires to, should be able to start something new.
There are many people in this world without love and basic needs. We believe that through different opportunities like Education, Health, Social Development and Sports we are able to express our love to those who are brokenhearted and are fighting for food and basic needs. Our main purpose is to give them hope and show them love; and in this way setting them free from their bondage, proclaiming liberty, freeing them from their broken lives. By standing firm beside the people who are in need, to encourage and equip them to use their God given gifts, creativities and talents.
The body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body. People of all religions, people groups, colors, languages, cultures, rich or poor; every one has a variety of gifts and a variety of ministries. Each one is an integral part of society, to help and encourage individuals to play their role in the society. When one member of the family suffers, all the members suffer with it. If one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.
We want to encourage locals to get involved in different spheres of the society and make a difference internally and externally. It also believes in long term commitment in people lives. Making a difference is not a onetime event but again and again, continually giving people the opportunity to make a difference.
Our goal is to partner with people, different organizations and the local authorities. We also believe that as people bear each other’s burdens the fruitfulness of community will increase. We also believes that nothing is impossible. Where there is no hope today; tomorrow it can change and become an example for others to follow.
We also believe in taking care of children and women and encouraging them to be an integral part of the society.
We stands against immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, negative actions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, boastful, challenging one another, envying one another. But it encourages love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, forgiveness, to be gracious compassionate, and of course, lovingkindness.
We believe people are called to be a LIGHT for each other and to bring the good news.
